How to Learn Reiki
Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki is taught is 3 levels.
Level I is taught in four, three hour sessions and includes four attunements for this initiation. These sessions are usually combined into a weekend with a morning and afternoon session each day, or spread out over two weeks with two evening sessions each week. The cost for the Level I class is $150. The price of this class is intentionally kept low so that almost anyone can afford to learn Reiki. This class also includes plenty of practice giving a self-treatment as well as giving someone else a Reiki treatment so that you will gain confidence in your new practice of Reiki.
Level II can be taught in four, three hour sessions or in six, three hour sessions that include more time for practice. A single attunement is given for this initiation. This class greatly increases your ability to use Reiki with three Reiki symbols. The power symbol is used to help the Reiki energy flow faster and stronger. The mental/emotional symbol is used to help treat the mental and emotional aspects of illness. The absent/distance symbol is used to send Reiki to someone across the room or around the world, through time and space. You will learn how to draw and use these symbols with plenty of practice to gain confidence in this new knowledge. The cost for the Level II class is $500.
Master level training is an apprenticeship that lasts at least one year. During this period, I give you all of my knowledge and experience of Reiki to help you truly become a Master of Reiki. This training involves extensive interaction with your Master, sitting in on at least 8 Level I classes and 8 Level II classes, treatment of at least 50 clients with Reiki, and reading as much as you can find about different natural healing techniques. The Master level training requires a significant financial and time commitment.
